2000 Upper Deck MVP Racing

I've never hid the fact that I believe sportscard prices have gone too far so when I see a product like Upper Deck MVP Racing it makes me ask why can't all the manufacturers make good, low priced cards?  MVP Racing is quite simply the nicest NASCAR product on the market today.  Not only has Upper Deck found a way to keep the price down, but they've also managed to make the set big (102 cards), include almost every Winston Cup and Bush driver, and give us autographs and memorabilia cards.

2000 UD MVP Magic Numbers Dale Jarrett Race Decal Card
Can you believe finding a piece of Dale Jarrett's race-used #88
decal in a pack of cards that only cost $1.50?

Interest in NASCAR cards has been waning in the past year, but with products like MVP it's time for collectors to take notice again.  Rarely do you open a pack without finding something good.  With three basic insert sets and three parallels (including Super Scripts which are numbered to the driver's car number) you won't be disappointed.  But that wasn't enough for Upper Deck so they inserted a ton of autographs (1 per 144 packs) and they even cut up the race decals from the side of the cars to make an ultra cool insert set called Magic Numbers (1 per 391 packs). All of this for $1.50 per pack.
